Dr Richard Brookshaw serves as Academic Lead for Implant Dentistry at CADE and is Clinical Director of Hale Dental & Implant Centre in Manchester.

He is responsible for the academic design, structure, and delivery of the CADE Implant Year Programme and leads alignment with EduQual Level 11 standards.

Dr Brookshaw has extensive experience in implant education and clinical practice, with a focus on:

  • Surgical implant placement
  • Restorative-driven planning
  • Risk assessment and case selection
  • Structured surgical protocols
  • Reflective case development
  • Long-term implant stability

He has delivered implant training nationally and internationally and is known for his disciplined, structured teaching style.

As a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Nobel Biocare, Dr Brookshaw works closely with one of the world’s leading implant manufacturers, contributing to clinical education, implant system development discussions, and structured surgical protocols.

His role within CADE includes:

Dr Lau Berraondo is Clinical Director of Enhance Dental Centre in Ely and co-leads CADE as Joint Programme Director.

He has extensive experience developing high-volume, digitally integrated implant and restorative environments and has built structured clinical systems that integrate implant surgery, digital planning, CAD/CAM workflows, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Dr Berraondo is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Dentsply Sirona, contributing to digital workflow education, chairside CAD/CAM integration, CBCT planning systems, and guided implant surgery implementation.

His clinical interests include:

Emma Farrell leads CADE’s Dental Care Professional education stream and is responsible for the development of structured team-based education across Hale and Ely.

With extensive experience in treatment coordination, implant workflow systems, and patient consultation frameworks, Emma has worked within advanced implant environments where precision, clarity, and consistency are critical.

She leads:

  • Treatment Coordinator Programme (Flagship)
  • Implant Nursing Programme
  • Endodontic Nursing Programme
  • Digital scanning education
  • Structured DCP career progression pathways

Emma has supported the development of hundreds of dental care professionals through structured training programmes and hands-on implementation within real clinical environments.

Glenys Bridges is a highly respected dental business consultant and trainer with over 30 years of experience supporting dental practices through complex operational, compliance, and team development challenges.

Holding qualifications in management, teaching, counselling, and life coaching, Glenys combines academic depth with a practical, implementation-focused approach.

She is:

  • CMIPD qualified
  • Diploma in Dental Practice Management (Dip DPM)
  • A three-time published author
  • Contributor to Messages from Dental Masters 2
  • Designer of five bespoke qualifications for dental practice managers and administrators
  • Co-founder of the British Dental Practice Managers’ Association (now ADAM)

Through Glenys Bridges Training and Development, she has delivered structured management programmes from Level 3 to Level 5 and has taught and mentored thousands of dental support staff, managers, and administrators across the UK.
